GIS-110 Fundamentals of Geospatial Science

This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of geographic information science and technology (GIS&T), including geographic information system (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), cartography, remote sensing, and spatial analysis. Exploration of how geospatial technologies are used in addressing human and environmental issues also are discussed. (3 contact hours)
