INT-100 Introduction to ASL Interpreting
This course provides an introduction to the field of American Sign Language Interpreting. Topics include the role and function of the interpreter, legislation and certification of interpreters. Additional topics include an introduction to interpreter ethics, English skill building, interpreting environments and settings, and the history of the interpreting profession. Fee is required.
