PHB-112 Phlebotomy Clinical Practice
This course is a two-credit hour course consisting of a minimum of 100 contact hours of supervised clinical practice of phlebotomy at one of the Moraine Valley Community College Phlebotomy Program’s clinical affiliate sites. This course provides the student with additional phlebotomy practice in a clinical setting and is designed to develop blood specimen collection skills to a level consistent with entry into the profession. Clinical experiences will include experience collecting a variety of specimens from a variety of patient types. Fee is required. (6 contact hours)
