LAN-233 Managing Database Services
This course is an introduction for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SQL Server database systems. This course will provide a strong foundation for those who wish to implement and administer corporate database systems. You will become familiar with SQL Server as well as be introduced to other popular database services such as Oracle. Additional topics will include installing or upgrading to SQL Server, configuring database options, managing security, monitoring and fine-tuning system performance, and performing backups and restorations. A basic introduction of the SQL language, directory services, and server management will be covered along with concepts of backup and recovery systems for business continuity. Fee is required.
