MDT-225 Design for Additive Manufacturing
This course will introduce the student to the concepts, principles, and techniques of designing for additive manufacturing, or 3D printing. The course will explore additive manufacturing processes, including plastic and metal printing, and how each process impacts design decisions. The course will discuss industrial applications of additive manufacturing including rapid prototyping, rapid tooling, and rapid manufacturing. This is a project-based course. Fee is required.
