MRT-115 HIT Professional Practice I

This course is a combination of simulated and actual clinical experiences including field trips and guest speakers. Students are introduced to clinical document integrity, ethics, accounting, and release of information in the classroom. In addition, students are assigned to health information management departments for supervised clinical experiences and application of health information management theory. Fee is required. (8 contact hours)
