MRT-213 Supervisory Techniques

This course includes a study of the theory and practice essential to the efficient operation of a health information management department within an acute, ambulatory or long-term care setting. Emphasis is placed on application to enable students to easily transfer knowledge directly to the workplace. Students will complete organizational charts, policies, procedures, job descriptions, departmental layouts, schedules, budgets, performance evaluations, productivity monitors, and other activities normally completed at the supervisory level.
